My boyfriend Fernando and I recently had an art show at Works Gallery in San Jose, Ca. Our show was called Outside Inside Out, and consisted of a full installation throughout the gallery. We had remixed contemporary and street art under one roof, while creating a domestic living space and an outside hang out area that was actually inside.
Not only was this such a great opportunity to showcase our work, but it was so much fun creating in the space and putting it all together. On the last day of the show Fernando conducted a photo shoot for his look book featuring his t-shirt designs so I lent him my camera to do so while I was at work. I came through just in time to help him with the shoot, and I was able to capture some really awesome flicks to contribute to his project. Our model Forrest was such a treat to work with, she was pretty chill and easy to shoot. I loved her style and presence, definitely hope to work with her again.
Here she is wearing Dunny Tee
Sky's the Limit...This was actually Fernando's concept shot this is were I walked in and then started taking photos. The setting is my vanity installation in the space. I was so glad he had the idea to put this area to use and really show what would go on in this area as if it were actually her vanity.
This one wasn't exactly in the gallery, it was in the parking garage right next to it. I just really liked the setting. Her features are so beautiful!
